The North Dakota Association of Meat Processors (NDAMP) is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship. This scholarship is for high school seniors or those currently enrolled in education/training beyond high school. This scholarship aims to support the next generation of professionals dedicated to advancing the meat processing industry and related agricultural sectors.
Scholarship Details:
- Amount: The scholarship will be awarded in two, $500 payments for the first and second semesters of the awardee’s school.
- Criteria: Applicants must provide the following criteria that will be used in selecting recipients.
- Cumulative GPA from High School (unofficial transcript)
- Club/Organization involvement during high school
- Short essay describing future goals
- One reference letter from a non-family member
- Timeline: All Applications must be submitted on or before April 1st. The board of directors will review the applications and determine the awardee before the annual convention on May 2-3, 2025. The winner of the scholarship will be invited to the banquet at the convention to be recognized.
