North Dakota Association of Meat Processors Announces $1,000 Scholarship for Agriculture Students

The North Dakota Association of Meat Processors (NDAMP) is pleased to announce the availability of a $1,000 scholarship. This scholarship is for high school seniors or those currently enrolled in education/training beyond high school. This scholarship aims to support the next generation of professionals dedicated to advancing the meat processing industry and related agricultural sectors.

Scholarship Details:

  • Amount: The scholarship will be awarded in two, $500 payments for the first and second semesters of the awardee’s school.
  • Criteria: Applicants must provide the following criteria that will be used in selecting recipients.
  • Cumulative GPA from High School (unofficial transcript)
  • Club/Organization involvement during high school
  • Short essay describing future goals
  • One reference letter from a non-family member
  • Timeline: All Applications must be submitted on or before April 1st. The board of directors will review the applications and determine the awardee before the annual convention on May 2-3, 2025. The winner of the scholarship will be invited to the banquet at the convention to be recognized.
